From initial enquiry to installation of fire and surround all aspects of my experience with staff was professional and staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Installation was completed to a high standard by staff who were definitely a credit to the company- I was consulted throughout the process and all packaging and rubbish was removed and my home was left clean and tidy

Communication was excellent, work carried out in a timely manner. The work itself was executed perfectly and the area left clean and tidy. The installers were pleasant and helpful.

Fitted an air source heat pump last month - fantastic service from start to finish, extremely professional teams. High quality product supplied and high quality workmanship for the install. Also carried out a gas boiler service on another property, again very professional and happy to be flexible around our arrangements - happy to look at an older boiler too where some companies were reluctant.

We are delighted with our new log burning stove, which was provided and installed by Gibson & Goold last week. The whole experience from start to finish has been a pleasure. From our visits to the store, where we were greeted by a very helpful advisor who was very knowledgeable and patient in helping us make the right choice, with no pressure. The site survey was thorough and we got excellent advice to make some changes - to ensure a safe installation was possible and a quote we were happy with. The installation team were excellent and did a fantastic job - they clearly take a pride in their work. Finally, a visit from Mr Goold himself to make sure we were happy with the service and the installation, which was a nice touch. Highly recommended.

We have just had our chimney dismantled and a new gas fire installed all in one day with no dramas, very little upset and the team cleaned up behind themselves .But what surprised me the most was the owner Keith knocked on the door early evening to inspect the job and ensure we were happy.
Great service glad we made the decision to use Gibson & Gould , you just can’t beat discipline and old school service.

Used G&G originally to install a fire (with an extra chimney) and then recently a heat pump with all new radiators and underfloor heating. I can't say enough good things about them and the quality of the work - they went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. I would be more than happy to invite them into our home again.

The staff in particular Kirsty in the showroom and Ross who fitted the fire were excellent. The process from visiting the store to getting the fire fitted was really quick. Kirsty was very knowledgeable about the products and Ross was very well presented and clean and tidy in his work. I would highly recommend this company

I had my new fire place fitted yesterday (Riva 2 600 Gas Fire) and the service and product was just amazing the whole way through. Couldn’t recommend this company enough and nothing was too much trouble. Special thanks to Keith and John for making the whole experience smooth and easy.

Just had a new wood burner installed. G&G did a first class job. Their men were polite and tidy and the standard of workmanship was excellent. Received aftercare call from Mr Goold the following day enquiring if we were satisfied which we were. I highly recommend this Company.

I had a Stovax Riva cassette wood burning stove fitted today. There was a problem with my chimney but with a lot of hard work and perseverance, the problem was solved.
The care taken by the fitters was excellent and when the job was completed, you would hardly know work had been done.I was very impressed with the attitude of all involved and would recommend Gibson and Gould without hesitation.

My parents bought a fire from G&G in the 60s, so when looking for a wood burner they were my first port of call. Good selection in their showroom and extensive knowledge on tap. I was torn between two stoves and while deliberating was called by G&G with a new fire that had just came on the market and it was cheaper than the other two that I had been looking at. The refundable site survey prior to purchase was also a good USP. Both pieces of work inspired confidence.
Installation was a dream, I took time to write to the owner to commend the two installers. They started by taking their shoes off to have a look round. Then shoes back on they started to lay out plastic to protect floors etc. IT was a two day job and they hoovered up after themselves and put everything back the way it was.The fire itself is a Jotul and probably the best investment I have made in the house.
I would thoroughly recommend G&G, from start to finish it was a great experience.

I had my new gas fire fitted over the last couple of days. I am totally delighted with such a professional and safe job and really pleased with my fire. Would totally recommend this company from beginning to end.
